Brandon Shin
STYLIST
From a young age, Brandon Shin knew he would become a stylist. After moving to New York City at age 19, he began to work with photographers and quickly learned to train his eyes to envision the perfect style and cut for each client. Brandon was then brought on to Frederic Fekkai's team and became his right-hand man, working as one of the original assistants to Fekkai himself. After working with Fekkai for several years, Brandon became a top senior stylist at the iconic 5th Avenue Frederic Fekkai Salon. Creating a name for himself, he went on to work with top designers such as Valentino, Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, DVF, Alice and Olivia, Rag and Bone, Proenza, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Missoni.
Brandon also worked on editorials with Vogue magazine and was the lead on the Oprah Show. During this time, he also became a mentor to aspiring stylists throughout the United States. He traveled in place of Frederic to teach juniors about what it means to become a top stylist. His expertise in client relations and styling hair eventually brought him to the top of Frederic Fekkai's empire. Brandon's recognition from the Fekkai organization made him a superstar within and outside of the company.
With years of experience in the fashion world, Brandon has been approached by many celebrity clientele to become their styling eye. He has worked with Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr, Anne Hathaway, Molly Sims, Julie Chang, Lang Lang, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Rachel Ray, and Britney Spears.

Nick Nam is a professional hairstylist with over 20 years of international experience in both salon and editorial hairstyling. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of hair artistry, he delivers exceptional results tailored to each client’s unique vision. Whether it’s precision haircuts for any length, complex colouring, artistic styling, including for weddings and special occasions, or expert hair extensions, Nikolay excels in it all. His passion for innovation and technical expertise ensures every client leaves the salon confident and looking their best. Always staying ahead of industry trends, he has worked with high-profile clients, celebrities, and world-renowned fashion designers, bringing creativity to every hairstyle.

Jimin Kim
STYLIST
Born in Korea and raised in Japan, Jimin Kim moved to New York City eight years ago to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a hairstylist. Jimin quickly jump-started his career in New York, working with Japanese techniques. Since then, he has expanded his education in Korean, American, and French styling. Currently with eight years of hands-on experience, Jimin continues to further his education in the industry, working closely with his mentor, Brandon Shin.
ZIYU bAE
STYLIST
Ziyu Bae was born and raised in Seoul, where she had her first experience working in the hair industry. In 2023, she came to New York City to further her career. Since then, she has been working at Formyhair Salon under top stylist Brandon Shin. Her passion for hairstyling comes from the joy she feels when seeing the positive effect that a beautiful transformation can have on an individual.
NAMOO Kim
STYLIST
South Korean-born stylist Namoo Kim graduated from fashion university before pivoting her career focus to hair styling and coloring. Her passion for learning new techniques and mastering different styles led her to New York City. While in New York, Namoo has worked with top hair stylists and fashion designers, pushing her to further perfect her skillset. She still makes a point to regularly attend training classes in order to stay informed of current industry trends. While working with many top stylists over the past five years, she has met many wonderful people and has gained invaluable experience. Her passion for making others look good and feel good and enriches her soul. She strives to make a lasting impact on each client that sits down in her chair.
Athena Alexander
COLORIST
Athena Alexander entered the beauty industry at age 22. Starting as a lighting assistant on photoshoots, she honed her eye for detail and an understanding of how light enhances beauty. Intrigued by the color dynamics, it was then she realized that rather than focusing on photography, her aim was to create the initial foundation.
In 2017 she began attending Arrojo Cosmetology School in New York City, blending her passion for precision and creativity to transform individuals through vibrant, personalized hues.
In 2018, Athena began her career in the prestigious Sally Hershberger Salon working alongside industry-leading celebrity colorists and creative directors. Here, she received training in French hair-painting and color formulation. She also continued to refine her attention to detail by considering her clients' eye color, skin tone, and lifestyle. This expertise now shapes her ability to curate a personalized, one-of-a-kind color experience.
Rayane cardena
STYLIST
Rayane Cardena was born and raised in Lyon, France. He has been passionate about hairdressing since childhood, styling the women in his family to bring them joy and confidence. After obtaining two diplomas in France, he moved to Dubai and opened his own salon at the age of 25. Over four amazing years, he enhanced the beauty of hundreds of women, known for his unique style and personal touch.
Eventually, Rayane realized that he didn’t fully align with some values in Dubai, so he returned to France to reconnect with a lifelong dream. After a year of working there, he relocated to New York City with the goal of bringing his artistry to new heights, and sharing his passion with a new audience.
